"In summer you do well and in winter it hurts [...]". And although summer is already over, the Blackbits have dared to make Berlin unsafe in winter. After an entertaining bus or train ride and a lunch together, the Blackbit team tried to keep Berlin's traffic on track:
Just in time for the rush hour we started in numerous Trabants to make the capital unsafe and to admire as many sights of the city as possible. Well, as many as possible, because on such an exciting ride with the "Rennpappe" you are first busy with other things than looking out of the side window and enjoying the tour: The oldtimer offers a special driving experience and the column of our Trabants should be kept. While we listened to the guide in front of us, the GDR cult car should not sink when starting up, gas, clutch and manual transmission should be changed into a routine, the colleagues* should be amused and besides, photos and videos should be taken. At the latest now all Blackbits are conditioned to do four things at once. Despite the handling of the Trabant, which takes some getting used to, we were able to enjoy the view of the Brandenburg Gate, the TV tower and remains of the Berlin Wall while driving.
After the exciting two and a half hour tour we checked in at the Hüttenpalast - an indoor camping site with historic caravans in old industrial halls - and then visited the Berlin office together.
In order to strengthen ourselves properly, we then stopped at the "Schwarze Heidi", who spoiled us with cheese fondue, sliced meat and roastis. The eventful day came to a fitting end with a few beers in the inner courtyard of the Hüttenpalast.
